Golden Autumn

The colours of this piece suit the scene perfectly. The choices of yellows, oranges, and reds will instantly make you think of summer. It is possible to see the sun as being off-putting because it's not directly in the centre, but it's definitely better to have it off to a side. The trees are dreamlike and look like they're dying under the harsh flame from the sun. Having trees not surrounding the entire perimeter of the canvas allows for that sense of openness. If there were trees surrounding the canvas completely it would cause the sun to appear too isolated, and would give a darker tone to the image. The way the artist has done it here makes everything have a slightly lighter tone, which allows the viewer to feel warmer. Overall, this piece gives the viewer an overwhelmingly positive feeling. It's gorgeous. Great work!
